Ashley Thompson
Laboratory Manager – SC LabAshley entered the workforce directly out of high school and quickly advanced to roles with increasing responsibilities ultimately leading to a management position with Columbiana Mall in South Carolina. Her experience coordinating daily activities with suppliers, business owners/managers, vendors, security, and maintenance prepared her to excel with NEMO | etc. Ashley’s role as Project Administrator allowed her the opportunity to experience the inner workings of laboratory projects and gain the knowledge necessary to become an effective laboratory manager. Ashley is directly responsible and successfully manages the coordination of projects for both the South Carolina and Connecticut labs and is a key contributor to making sure that the South Carolina laboratory is compliant with all aspects of ISO/IEC 17025.

Alex Holtkamp
Laboratory Manager – CT LabAlex’s experience in our industry dates back to 2007, and he currently serves as Laboratory Manager for the Oxford, CT laboratory. Alex attended the University of South Carolina as a major in Sport and Entertainment Management and also received an Associate of Arts from Kaskaskia College.
Responsibilities
- Project coordination, testing, monitoring and reporting.
- CT Lab staff management and mentoring.s
- Assist Director of Quality with maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and credentials.
- Liaison at technical conferences.

Charles Phillips
Section Lead, Large-scaleCharles’ experience in our industry dates back to 1994, and he currently serves as the Section-Lead for Large-Scale Testing. His experience provides clients with confidence that their test assemblies will be constructed consistently and to the highest standard. His electro-mechanical background enables him to design, produce and implement new test equipment and procedures.

Hughie Dixon
Technical Liaison, TECH 3Hughie’s experience in our industry dates back to 2008, and he currently serves as our Technical Liason. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics, he takes a natural interest in accuracy, precision and efficiency. Hughie is actively pursuing his P.E. certification as part of his career path.

David Carey
Section Lead, Small Scale, TECH 2David’s experience in our industry dates to 2019 and he currently serves as the Section-Lead for Small-Scale Testing. David earned a bachelor’s degree in human services, from Columbia College in South Carolina, which prepared him to be an effective team leader with heightened communication skills that enable him to drive continual improvement within our laboratory. David is a working manager and in addition to serving as a trusted technician, he has contributed to various aspects of maintaining our laboratory accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025), most notably managing all calibrated assets. David has applied himself in every role since joining NEMO | etc. and his experience instills confidence with our clients that results obtained testing in our laboratory are consistent with the standard and performed with accuracy and precision to maintain quality assurance
